I'm Back in the States

Alright, so I am the absolute worst at keeping up at this...sorry.  I will tell about my last couple weeks in Ireland after this post.

I have decided to finish my Europe trip early to go home and help my grandma.  Kinda a hard decision because I was SO excited for the 2nd half of my trip after Ireland!  I was going to go to the rest of my countries on my list in Europe and nanny in Italy!  But, it felt like the right thing to go home to help my grandma.
So after Ireland, I packed up and flew home!  First stop was DC to help my sister.  I babysat for a couple days while she had some trainings for work.
Then I continued onto Utah where I visited my other sister and helped them with their baby.  They were starting school that week so I was there to just kinda help out here and there while they figured out how to do school, work, and have a baby around!

I also got to see some of my high school friends! We got together one afternoon :)
My sister and I went to Lagoon - my first time ever!! My parents had promised me when I was young that if I read a certain amount of books that summer, they'd take us to Lagoon.  Well....that never happened. hahaha so I went with Rachel and we had a blast!  Even if we did have to run from the park to the frontrunner in less than 20 minutes to catch our train back to Provo!
While in Utah, I also got to surprise my best friend!  I had fibbed a tad and told her I wouldn't be there until the end of the week.  So when I showed up to her door with a plate of cookies, she was pretty shocked!  It was a priceless reaction!  And it was SO flippin' good to see her again!  We had some dinners together, went to Fish Kiss, went to the Temple, made carmelettas, watched a movie, and played games!  I had missed her a lot!
Me and Krista ♥ (I forgot to get a picture with her until 5 minutes before I had to leave on my train...hence my pj's)
Fish Kiss - it tickled SO much!
At the end of my week in Utah, I took the train over to California where I stayed with my parents for a little bit to visit them and a sister.  It was a great time there!  We went hiking to Mount Lassen, played outside, visited Lake Tahoe, and went camping at Eagle Lake!
Mount Lassen Hike - At the top!
Sunset at Eagle Lake
Camping at Eagle Lake - these kids just jumped in the hammock with me!
Camping at Eagle Lake - cooking Breakfast!
Two weeks later, I continued my way to Southern California where I am now with my grandma to help care for her for a little while :) Wish me luck! ;)
My cat didn't want me to leave... :(
